Today, the Canadian-Mexican artist Boogat unveils Mezcalero Feliz, the second single off his upcoming album, San Cristóbal Baile Inn, to be released on September 29th via Maisonnette. The song was produced in collaboration with Mexican producer Andrés Oddone.

Mezcalero Feliz is a song not only about Mezcal, the drink, of course, but also the tradition, explains Boogat. Mezcalero Feliz will give you a window into the millennium of the Mezcalillero & Mezcolatra lifestyle. The song borrows and reworks a number of Mexican folk sayings that celebrate Mezcal, letting Mezcalero Feliz shine through its modern interpretation of a style of song that is usually reserved for Traditional Mexican Music.
The song is accompanied by a heart pounding remix produced by Mexican club-scene darling Borchi y su Doble Redoble (RBMA / MUTEK). He will perform for the first time in Montreal at MUTEK on August 24th. Borchi delivers a dance remix full of Latin and Funk rhythms and hot brass arrangements.
