La Grosse Lanterne, the festival in the forest, has added new artists to the line-up’s third edition on August 12th & 13th. Tickets are on sale now. The festival, hosted by the small town of Béthanie, Montérégie, will once again offer a variety of music, visual arts, good food, eco-fun and outdoor activities.

A special edition of Moonshine will take place on Friday night, August 12th.The post-full-moon Saturday night event will move from Montreal to Béthanie for one night only to keep the crowd dancing all night long. As previously announced, Brown, Organ Mood, Pawa Up First and Félix Dyotte will perform on the hostel stage during the evening.

Heartstreets will join the Saturday, August 13th line-up, which includes previously announced acts Dead Obies, Lisa LeBlanc, Groenland, Klô Pelgag, Chocolat, Safia Nolin, I.D.A.L.G, Les Marinellis and Saratoga. It will be a rare occasion to see the duo perform their R&B songs in Quebec this summer. DJ sets by Le Matos and Shash’ U will keep the fun going until the wee hours of the night.

The Landry & Filles food-truck is back this year. Bars, catering services and BBQ grills will be available. Tents can be set up along the banks of the Black River.

The festival site will open at 3pm on Friday. For those who prefer to get there only Saturday, the site will open at 10am. The festival will provide a shuttle bus service all weekend from Montreal to Béthanie and back. All details can be found on La Grosse Lanterne's website.
